Brother Martin sees New Life Church as a refuge for hurting people, coming to be healed and restored to new life through the power of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. He purposes that our services will be characterized by love, power, and knowledge as we teach God’s Word as well as worship Christ in Spirit and in Truth.
Meet the Jones Family
Son, Preston Jones, is a Senior in high school and is very active in the ministry here at New Life. Preston is life-long member of the praise team where he plays piano, drums, and guitar. (not at the same time!) Preston is the leader of “Breakaway”, a Christian Worship band. Preston attends Clark Country Christian Academy and enjoys golf.
Daughter, Julie Wilhelm plays the flute and is a registered nurse at the Arkansas Human Developement Center. Her husband, Jim, is our sound, lighting, and electronics expert. He is a media specialist at Henderson State University and is a great asset to New Life Church. Jim and Julie’s greatest achievement was producing the Pastor’s grandkids.
Grandkids help New Life Church by keeping Papaw happy and blessed. Ashton is in the 5th grade, Isabella is in the 4th and the twins, Dalton and Chandler are 2 years old. They all love their Papaw and Nana, but when asked, “who do you love the most?”, they always reply,“God!”…smart kids
